							This
table will compute VO2max times for distances based on a 5000-meter race
time. All input cells have a green background. You can’t enter data into any
of the other cells. To start, enter a time in minutes and seconds for a
5000-meter race or ability level. In the example below, it’s 16:00 with an
increment of 10 seconds for each row. In the green boxes above the table,
  I’ve entered distances of 800, 1600, 2000, 3200, and 3.5 miles. Notice that
the 3.5 mile entry flags a red background to show that the split distance may
be too long for a VO2 rep. This will happen for distances over 2 miles  If you want to use miles instead of meters,
convert miles to meters in the calculator in the upper right of the screen.  The light red column next to the 5k times
show the 1600-meter VO2max pace for each row. The example below will show
times up to around a 5k of 21 minutes. If you need more, just print another
sheet starting where the first left off.
The +/- row shows a range for the pace in seconds. You could also
increase the increment. The paces generated are within the ranges produced by
  the Running Writings Calculator.
